In 1976, I, Doug Watson, started my first cabinet business, Purdy's Mill Woodworking, where I honed my skills and passion for woodworking over four fulfilling years.

After starting a new career phase, I began working for a different company, creating various projects to demonstrate my commitment to high standards and fresh ideas. However, in 1999, I founded Country Lane Woodshop because of my strong desire to produce classic furniture that exceeded expectations.
